Achievements
We have worked hard to build a sustainable business and are proud of what we have achieved.
We started our eco friendly journey in 2005 and believe that our environmental achievements speak for them selves. Here are some of the achievements and awards we are most proud of:
- The first and only event management company in the UK to secure GTBS (Green Tourism Business Scheme) Silver in 2007 and Gold in 2008.
- Invested over £100k in improving the thermal properties, reducing the energy consumption and installing renewables of our office to create an exemplar of sustainable office refurbishment.
- The first and only event management company in Scotland to effectively measure and reduce their carbon footprint and then offset.
- The only event management company in the UK to have created an inhouse Event Carbon Calculator which has been authoratively validated by the Edinburgh Centre of Carbon Management.
- The only event management company to have designed and launched GEM (Green Event Mechanism), their own EMS (Environmental Management System) for the effective delivery of sustainable events at three levels (GEM 1-3).
- The first event management company in the UK to develop and launch (2006) a bespoke CSR team building event, Eden, validated externally (Footprint Consulting) and recognised educationally (Eco Schools 2008).
- Winner and finalist in a range of CSR Awards including:
