An experienced Organisational Development and Learning professional with top team experience in the public sector.  A previous national graduate management trainee with the NHS, educated to Masters level, Gavin has a PG Certificate in Coaching, is an accredited facilitator for Franklin Covey and qualified in MBTI Steps I & II. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a flexible, intelligent and thoughtful approach to consultancy has enabled Gavin to work successfully with a range of clients in public, private and voluntary sectors.

  • Leadership Development - supporting leaders at all levels in an organisation using a range of modern learning and development methodologies.  He thrives on helping leaders to understand their strengths, grow in confidence, build trust with colleagues and realise their potential to achieve great results with their teams and within their organisations.
  • Team Development - working closely with teams in a safe yet stretching environment in order to help individuals to work better together and to exceed expectations within the workplace. He encourages teams to understand differences and to value diversity, improve their communication, resolve conflicts quickly, and to manage workloads and work-life balance better.
  • Organisational Development - working in and for organisations, support senior leaders to achieve real and sustainable change within their organisations.  Using a flexible consultancy approach, he supports leaders to focus on formulating, clarifying and communicating a clear vision and strategy for the future, to align organisational systems and business processes to support the change, and to lead by example in creating the culture that they need to succeed.

Over 2006 - 2009 Gavin has been involved in a wide variety of Maximillion interventions with Scottish Widows, National Institute for Heath & Clinical Excellence, RBS Group, Maynard Leigh Associates, Audit Scotland, British Energy plc, NATS, Visitscotland & sportscotland
