Martin Lawson
Martin established himself as a freelance outdoor instructor in 2002, working with companies and local councils, coaching and helping both children and adults develop new skills through their experiences in the outdoors. This led to an interest in team building, personal development, and facilitation; Martin took this interest to the next level, becoming a fully qualified Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Martin has been utilising his skills and knowledge of NLP in the business sector, developing special programs to help clients understand what is limiting their progression, and using NLP techniques and tools to help the clients achieve their goals.
Martin first became involved with Maximillion in 2006, progressing from high-ropes course instructor to Event Manager, and then facilitating in a number of events for clients such as RBS Group, City of Edinburgh Council, British Energy plc, Identity & Passport Services and Turner Group. Martin has also facilitated on a number of projects outwith Maximillion such as The Royal Air Force, The Scottish Women's Rugby Squad and Vectra Engineering.
Martin previously worked in the Royal Bank of Scotland for 12 years, gaining extensive experience in the corporate sector, working in IT development, workflow analysis and design within various departments of the Bank.
