Profile

Stuart Haden BSc MSc MCIPD

Stuart is a commercially focused learning and development specialist with 20 years experience and particular expertise in teams, leadership and coaching.  He discovered his passion for developing people when managing an outdoor activity centre in Wales for 8 years.  In 2006 he graduated from London South Bank University with an MSc in Human Resources & Development.  Stuart's overall approach to learning is anchored to 3 elements - developing authenticity, acquiring knowledge and knowing your audience.

Specialist areas

  • Team development - unique sessions that provide a choice of content for participants, thus placing the ownership for learning with the attendees.
  • Authentic leadership - in this relatively recent arena programmes explore how individuals become attuned with their core values and develop fundamental individuality.
  • Coaching - Stuart works with organisations to embed a coaching culture by developing strategy, process, evaluation and behavioural change. These programmes are aimed at managers developing as coaches and mentors within the organisation. He is currently writing a book that explores the skills required to be an effective coachee, a completely untapped area of the industry.
