SCCYP Conference

In 1991, our country signed up to an international agreement - the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. This is a set of promises to do certain things to make life better for children and young people. SCCYP's job is to make sure those promises are kept.

Objectives

• To explore the barriers to legal reform
• Discuss the need for public awareness and support for parents
• To raise awareness, gather information for SCCYP and pull key professionals together to talk about the issues
• To progress the public education agenda
