International Media Company (UK staff)

Maximillion was approached by Your Great Escape and Olive 360 to deliver two of six Family Fun Days  for their media client's Chain Supply staff across the UK over three days. This was the first time the client had organised an event of this scale.

Working in close partnership, Maximillion provided the activities and event management at Musselburgh and Ripon Racecourses; Olive 360 organised the venues, website and registration; while Your Great Escape arranged the activities at other locations around the UK.

Each of the six events had to offer the same activities and format, and be of the same high standard.

Objectives

• Thank and reward Chain Supply staff and their families
• Entertain guests of all ages
• Build company loyalty
• Make staff feel valued and appreciated

Duration:  1100 - 1600

Venues:     Musselburgh Racecourse & Ripon Racecourse

Format:    BBQ, 3 activity zones and wandering entertainment

Guests:    Approx 500 Supply Chain staff and families at each event

Outline

Guests were welcomed by furry friends, entertained by a close up magician and balloon modeller while they registered, then enjoyed activities which were in themed zones and included:

• Fairground: Dodgems, teacups, funfair stalls, candyfloss
• Have a go: Archery, climbing wall, human table football, surf simulator, bungee run, beauty therapists, crazy golf
• Kids' Zone: Giant inflatable slide, bouncy castle, face painters, soft play, ball pond, tykes toys, giant lego, craft stalls

Timed falconry demonstrations, Punch and Judy shows and kids' races ensured that everyone was fully entertained throughout the event.

Outcome

Following the success of this event, the client hopes to make it an annual "can't be missed" occasion.
