How it works
Teams build a giant hand-held “railway” circuit or figure of eight which can transport a series of footballs around the room. Your whole group must co-ordinate the track movements “Mexican Wave” style to propel the balls. Split into three distinct sections, teams first design and build a prototype before going into mass production and finally collaborating with other teams.
Who it’s for
Mexican Railway is for you if you’d like a group energiser to warm up your team at the start of your corporate event, or to bring together teams in a whole group finale. It makes a great energiser or ice-breaker at any point in your conference or meeting agenda, and works well to emphasise the importance of individual, team and group effort.
Mexican Railway is a dynamic indoor challenge which encourages individuals and teams to identify with the whole group. All team members have a role to play and will feel a huge sense of achievement with the end result. Consider combining Mexican Railway with a Team Top Trumps or Balloon Tower energiser – this will extend the event timings to 1.5 hours, and will get the group in a fantastic frame of mind for both cross-team collaboration and competition!
