2010 Barnardo's Cairngorm Challenge
Maximillion is delighted to get behind and event manage the 2010 Barnardo's Cairngorm Challenge for the fourth consecutive year.
3 Routes, 2 Adventures, 1 Challenge
The Barnardo's Cairngorm Challenge is THE iconic adventure challenge and is set to take place on Saturday 11th September. Located in the Cairngorms National Park the challenge is bigger, better and longer than the previous three years and will use the familiar and favourite "dualathon" Hike and Bike combo. There are three routes to choose from: Bronze (50km) Silver (75km) and Gold (100k), all three with relay options available. Everyone will start with a climb up Scotland's 6th highest mountain, Cairn Gorm and then pass through the stunning estates of Rothiemurchus, Abernethy Reserve, Pityoulish and Glenmore Forests.
Early Bird registration
We are recruiting teams of four to six right now with Early Bird registrations open. If you register before the end of April, you not only get a £25.00 discount off your £100 registration fee, but as an added incentive we will give all early birders a free pair of high performance Teko socks worth £12.50 and an invitation to a Tiso Club Night at a shop near you where all stock is discounted by up to 25%. In addition, one lucky Early Bird team will be drawn from the hat and win a two free places or four half price places on a Glenmore Lodge two day mountain bike skills course worth £195 pp.
Who's it for?
It's all in a good cause and in aid of Barnardo's Scotland where all money raised will be used for projects in Scotland. We ask each person to pay £100 registration free and endeavour to raise £400 in sponsorship.
