Welcoming A New Face To The Team…

As our busy summer period is fast approaching, we are delighted to welcome another new member of staff to the Maximillion family!

Sarah is our newest addition to the team and joined in April 2018 after spending over 6 years working on large scale public events in the UK and overseas – most recently, completing 4 years with The Royal Highland Centre and The Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh.

When did you join?
”I joined Maximillion Events in April 2018 after spending several years with The Royal Highland Centre working on large scale indoor and outdoor public events.”

What is your role?
”Events Executive – my role involves account management and project management of events while supporting our Director of Operations Sarah and GPS Adventures Manager Mike with planning and delivery.”

What do you love most about your role?
”I love the variety of events that I get to work on and the fun and supportive team dynamic.”

What are your career highlights to date?
I have been extremely lucky to have worked on some incredible events! I would have to say my top 3 have been Top Gear Festival Sydney, Little Mix Summer Shout Out Tour and working on The Royal Highland Show for 4 years running.”

What has been your most enjoyable experience?
”Traveling has always been something I have enjoyed and hope to do more of. Exploring Morocco and the Atlas Mountains then finishing the trip with a night under the stars with my camel sidekick has to be one of my best highlights!”

What is the weirdest food you have tried?
”Steamed snails and goats head soup in Jemaa el-Fnaa night market in Marrakech has to be the strangest food I’ve tried … although it was delicious!”

Best film?
”American Psycho (what a soundtrack!) or The Sopranos … not technically a film but brilliant none the less!”

Best food?
”Japanese – if I had to live off one cuisine It would be this!”

Star sign?
”Taurus – the determined bull.”

Spare time?
”I enjoy rock climbing and clay shooting … and there is nothing better than a peaceful walk with the dogs. Spending time with family and friends enjoying good food and drink is a favourite pastime.”

Where would you like to live?
”Barcelona – it’s got a bit of everything and a great night life.”
