UK Managers Conference

Agency partner Pink Grapefruit approached Maximillion to support their client’s annual UK Managers Conference with a brace of team building activities that would get the group working together.

Objectives

The brief was to bring colleagues, that work all over the UK, together for a day of fun, energetic team building activities which utilised the space in the Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel.

 

What we did

The day started with a Rhythm Rocks drumming workshop featuring Body Percussion, Samba Drumming and lots of collaborative noise-making, which developed into the whole group refining their sound and playing the same rhythm.

After lunch our Commercial Break video-based team building event format was unveiled to teams, who were given a selection of themes from which to film a one minute advert. Ranging from “Trekking the Inca Trail” to “Self Drive Tour of Australia’s East Coast” teams were tasked with storyboarding their ideas, presenting this to the financiers and backers, purchasing props and technical equipment and finally, filming their advert.

Adverts were edited and shown to all participants who voted on the best overall ad during an Oscar themed awards ceremony in the evening.

Who took part

A group of UK Managers from the world’s largest youth travel company, with whom we had also previously worked on a Wildgoose Scotland Edinburgh City Explorer in 2014
