Our approach to meeting your needs

Maximillion adopts a thorough methodology and phased approach for each and every intervention and will always begin an initial enquiry or live project with a fresh outlook and an objective appraisal of your organisation. Our formula for success follows these key phases:

Engage

Engage with you to understand and identify the opportunities and design the experience that will deliver the desired outcomes back at work. Learn more...

Communicate

With your people to prepare them and create the right context, managing their expectations in advance of the event. Learn more...

Deliver

Deliver an intervention where your people will learn by doing.  Learn more...

Evaluate

Evaluate the journey to ensure the learning is grounded back at work and delivers sustainable benefit and a return on investment.  Learn more...

Engage

We will engage with you in order to understand the issues and agree outcomes that are performance led.  We always start with the end in mind, aiming to design a programme that will ultimately ground the learning back in the business.

Our interventions are designed to comprise one or more day's combination of theoretical and experiential sessions, to include work place "quick wins" and action planning sessions.  Every organisational & team development programme aims to be:

  • Content Rich & Interactive
  • Stimulating & Fun
  • Relevant & Action bound
  • Challenging, but non-threatening

Communicate

We may need to do some scene setting with your people to ensure buy-in and establish key messages. This may involve canvassing the perspective of some key individuals and teams within and outwith the organisation through questionnaire or interview. We will provide a comprehensive diagnosis and provide our response with the method, content and outcomes of the intervention, as well as other options to consider.  Tools to help with the diagnosis and support buy-in include:

  • Team Effectiveness Inventory
  • Organisational Change & Organisational Fitness profiling
  • Belbin Team Role profiling
  • MBTI
  • Brain dominance profiling

We have discovered that by creating pre- and post-intervention communication, participants are provided with greater challenge beyond merely attending an event. This delivers two key benefits:

  • Focus on delivering practical benefit inside the organisation
  • Clarity and reason for attending, but more importantly participating with a sense of purpose.

Deliver

Programmes are delivered around the objective, outcomes and profile of the group.

We work through a four phase cycle:

Our Lead Facilitators run the selected activity experiences and provide input sessions on aspects of current thinking. By building in ongoing reviews of the activities we can observe and draw out the learning appropriate to the team in light of the individual, team and business context. Opportunities to utilise this learning in the future dealings of the individuals and the team back in the workplace are then identified.

On the day you can expect:

  • Wholesale commitment to objective and outcomes - starting with the end in mind
  • Welcome and energiser
  • Reflection on preparatory work
  • Experiential activities and simulations to build Consensus
  • Facilitated Thinking into Action & Road Mapping to ground the learning, including team plans for action and individual Goal Maps

Evaluate

What gets measured gets done, so beyond what we already do on the day, we feel that it's important to stay engaged with you and your organisation post-event. To build on the momentum gained through the intervention, we'd like to:

  • Review progress towards organisation, team and individual plans
  • Act as a sounding board to explore the implications and applications of the intervention
  • Report and propose further development
  • Provide coaching support to sustain the impact of the learning
  • Deploy an ROI framework, as appropriate

ROI

In order to provide a demonstrable return on your investment, we have a number of models that can be incorporated into your programme. One example is our Team Effectiveness Inventory. The TEI can analyse the effectiveness of the team pre-and post-event, then, by carrying out a gap analysis of the team and isolating many of the variables that affect team performance, we are finally able to calculate your ROI.
