How it works

Environmental Challenges can vary from improving drainage in a historic estate, building an enclosure to protect trees, tree planting, trail path building, an archaeological dig or even dry-stane dyking. Projects can be split to involve an element of competition and can be run for one day or a whole week. Entertainment such as a ceilidh, quiz, or whisky tasting can be organised as a reward after a hard days work, or a half day of outdoor activities could be added to wrap up the challenge in a more competitive fashion.
