Going...going...gone!

Creative thinking, guesswork, bluff and a keen appreciation of changing values from the past to present are encouraged in this intriguing and interactive event. Antique Antics is a challenging gameshow style event that brings together TV classics 'Call My Bluff' and the 'Antiques Road Show' in an event format to treasure!

How it works

Teams debate and determine the period, use and value of a selection of weird and wonderful objects. They are then provided with the true description of one of the artefacts and must create two false descriptions. The more convincing and plausible the untrue descriptions, the more chance of hoodwinking the opposing teams. Much conferring and discussion follows as the different descriptions are presented and assessed, until the true identity of each one is first chosen then revealed to the surprise and disbelief of all.
