Banff, located in Aberdeenshire in N Scotland, boasts a charming harbour and historic town centre with many buildings of note. Duff House, a 5 star visitor attraction, and the surrounding parkland is a wonderful venue for small meetings and team building activities.

Throw your teams to the dragons to be challenged on their overall business acumen; the marketability of their products, the soundness of their business planning and their creativity.

This activity can be purely for fun, or designed to suit your particular business objectives. 

How it works

Teams are tasked with designing a new product which can be anything from a children's toy to a product for pets, or a product associated with their own business. Key considerations such as design, manufacture, distribution, marketing and pricing must be carefully thought through and justified if teams have any chance of impressing the panel of dragons. Teams are also provided with a raft of resources and materials to enable research activity into the potential market for their product. Teams then have to build key elements of their research into their final pitches, to ensure a level of 'face validity' and rigour to the process. The team which presents the most credible business proposition to the specially selected panel of established business entrepreneurs, and secures the most amount of investment from them, wins the challenge.
