Pole Position in Stirling

Stirling is a vibrant city, steeped in historic atmosphere yet offering a host of venues, modern facilities and entertainment options perfect for corporate conferences and incentive events. Dominated by the cliff-top fortress and royal palace of Stirling Castle, the city is rich with historical legends and events from William Wallace to the Battle of Bannockburn and Robert the Bruce, providing a unique and dramatic setting for team building and corporate entertainment.

In this newly developed team building event, Pole Position combines creative flair with technical wizardry as teams embark on the race to take the chequered flag.

Hosted by “The Stigg”, Pole Position emulates a Formula One weekend complete with race qualifiers, expert commentary, the grid walk over the PA and a warm up lap. The race will be launched from a staggered grid with the fastest qualifier starting from Pole Position. The winning team will be the masters of race strategy, driver management, pit stops, wheel changes and all the daring driving skills required to negotiate the chicanes and power down the straits of our F1 circuit.

How it works

Pole Position challenges teams to design and construct their own pedal powered F1 Super Kart and then race in a series of qualifiers before the final head-to-head to take the chequered flag and win the Grand Prix.

Pole Position draws on a wide range of team skills as roles are assigned to undertake crucial tasks including

  • Pit stop management
  • Sponsorship and branding
  • Engineering
  • Race strategy
  • Team drivers

Who it's for

Pole Position is for you if you're looking for an exciting, face-paced and high energy event which builds and bonds teams.
