Let your guests be catapulted back into the classic Hollywood era!

Theming

The entrance to your venue would have a red carpet, stanchions and paparazzi positioned to "pap" guests on arrival. Guests would be served champagne from classic champagne flutes and enjoy canapés whilst rubbing shoulders with the movie themed look-a-likes.

A walkway or reception area could be transformed to recreate your company's very own Hollywood Walk of Fame, with names appearing in stars.

Theming ideas include:

• Search lights either outside the venue
• Dressing room mirrors to decorate the inside or light projections on the external walls of the venue
• Themed stage set and classic black & white dance floor
• Tables and chairs dressed using satin, silk and chiffon fabrics. Suggested colour schemes: black-white-silver with red, or for the vintage feel, more sepia tones: brown/chocolate-ivory-gold
• Themed table stationary and tables named after classic Hollywood movies or famous Hollywood stars
• Black & white photos of your favourite stars of the silver screen framed and hung around the venue
• Hollywood sign reminiscent of the Hollywood Hills
• Giant cuts outs of Hollywood's best loved actors
• Show reel playing clips from classic movies
• Table centre options include silver movie reels, clapperboards, mini Hollywood studio film cans, reel award Oscar centre piece, old cameras with flash bulbs. Alternatively, centre pieces with trilby hats and giant plume feathers reminiscent of the Bugsy Malone era
• Flowers on their own or include them with a vintage film piece. Suggested flowers from that era are roses, peonies and lilies
• Feathers, pearls, diamonds could be used to decorate elements of the table ie napkin rings

• Can-can dancers
• Charleston dance troupe
• Cabaret singers
• Hollywood look-a-likes (eg Frank Sinatra)
• "Rat Pack is Back" band
• Casino tables
• Living Oscar statues

• Craig McMurdo band
