Take One - Corporate Film Events in Southampton

A glance at the map gives some idea of the strategic maritime importance of Southampton on the Solent. The range of unique and traditional venues for conferences and team building and its proximity to the New Forest is testament to Southampton's importance now as a hub for business and commerce.

Become a star of stage and screen!

Newly formed ‘production companies' must write, finance, direct, produce and star in their own 3 minute movie. All this in one afternoon and in one take! This film event requires excellent project management skills combined with brilliant creativity to bring all of the elements together to create the next Oscar winning production. Take One is a great way to incorporate a business message into any corporate event.

How it works

Issued with a headline and theme, teams must script, produce and act in their 3 minute wonder. Teams earn funding by pitching their ideas to the bank manager. Successful negotiation earns them the money to put their ideas into reality by purchasing props and costumes, sound effects and filming equipment. The hilarious results can be played back to the group at the end of the film event or a red carpet Oscar's Awards Ceremony can be used as part of the evening entertainment.

Who it's for

Take One is for you if you want a fun and exciting activity which will leave your group with films to be proud of.

The benefits

Take One is easily adjusted to meet your specific corporate team building objectives. Take One works well to improve:

  • Planning, debate and brainstorming
  • Strategic thinking (forward planning)
  • Different styles of decision making under pressure
  • Collaboration
