We are architects of great challenge events! Challenge Events can be used effectively by charities to raise money or by corporates to engage their people. The Challenge Events we build can be physically demanding, typical of a Charity Challenge, or the emphasis can focus on team work or sport, typical of a Corporate Challenge. Sporting Challenges
Our Sporting Challenges are designed for the specific requirements of individual clients. Past triumphs have included a Winter Olympics in St Moritz, Touch Rugby tournament at Murrayfield and a Curling Tournament on “carpets” complete with an Olympic Silver Medalist!
Everyone loves a bit of sport and there is no better way to engage your people than everyone competing it out in a tournament. Whether a knockout competition or a league, use a Sporting Challenge to motivate your teams or entertain your clients. Whichever sport you decide on, we will design and develop a format which maximizes participation right through to the exciting final with results and prize giving!
Team Challenges
Team Challenges come in all shapes and sizes and are designed to meet the exacting requirements of each particular client. The emphasis leans towards developing the characteristics of effective team work by providing a series of short sharp problem solving challenges linked by navigational legs. The journey is one of continual improvement so by the end, the team is cohesive and effective.
If you are looking to motivate your people and develop core team skills then our Team Challenges might just be the ideal format for you. Less physical and demanding than our Corporate Challenge, our Team Challenge will require teams to navigate to one of a number of problem solving tasks where they must assess the situation, formulate a plan and implement as a team.

Charity Challenges
We have designed a number of Charity Challenge events however the two flagship events we are most proud about are Barnardo’s Cairgorm Challenge and Tesco Bank 4 Abbey’s Challenge. The former was a spectacular hike and bike event across 100km of some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery. The latter, a cycling challenge following the Scottish Boarders trail known as the 4 Abbey’s.
Increasingly popular with charities as an opportunity to raise much needed funds, our charity events are designed to challenge and test fundraisers. Charity Challenges provide an inspiring and motivational event that requires grit and determination to complete and compete. Maximillion will research, design, test and manage your own Charity Challenge throughout the UK and beyond.
Corp Challenge
Many clients require their own “in house” corporate challenge as their principle client relations platform or internal team development program. The Hudson Challenge provided and exciting challenge event that their clients were invited to enter teams into. While Scottish Widows used Maximillion on consecutive years to upskill their teams entering the Challengers Trophy events.
Corporate Challenges takes an engagement event to the next level with a format which will challenge participants both physically and mentally. Run over a single or multiple days, small teams will typically navigate to a check point where a challenge will be undertaking. Navigational legs and Challenge checkpoints both earn points for teams creating a highly competitive platform with teams fighting it out for position!
