Royal Botanic Gardens Adventure
Maximillion have teamed up with Royal Botanical Gardens to bring their unique GPS Adventure to this unique venue, offering a fun-filled team-building event with teams exploring the gardens and buildings within the grounds while completing a series of digital, app-based tasks and challenges all themed around to mission to explore, conserve and explain the world of plants for a better future!
The Botanics has a number of great event spaces, including the John Hope Gateway Centre, The John Douglas Room, Caledonian Hall and outdoor areas that can be transformed for your event needs. These suit a range of group sizes making an excellent venue to host an away day, conference or party itinerary.
The unique GPS adventure allows a flexible activity that can be tailored for 90 minutes up to a full day to engage, inspire and entertain your group. It also offers a great ½ day activity if you are hosting your business event in a nearby Edinburgh venue – the perfect energising get-away awaits in the Botanics.

How it works
Using smartphones or iPads and our interactive mobile adventures app, you’ll explore The Botanics and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Edinburgh’s urban biodiversity.
You’ll learn more about the Gardens and the work the do as Guardians of one f the richest plant collections on earth, while unlocking GPS hotspots and solving problems, answering questions and adding your own horticultural creativity with photo and video challenges. The activities can also be tailored to include personalised questions, company branding and even video messages from your CEO.
You will compete in small teams with a live scoreboard and “photo wall” within the app, allowing everyone to inspire and entertain each other throughout the adventure!
Who it’s for?
GPS Adventures are flexible and can be tailored to many different scenarios, making them fantastic as standalone team building days as well as enhancing a conference agenda or incentive programme, and they’re also great for private parties. These GPS Adventures are bespokely designed for the venue, and can be tailored to include personalised questions, company branding and even video messages from your CEO!
