On the occasion of a three-day integration event at Gleneagles in January 2016 for the European staff of US Investment Banking company Houlihan Lokey, Maximillion were invited to provide a full day of activities for team building and team bonding.

Objectives:

Provide Houlihan Lokey staff with a fun, engaging and dynamic team building and team bonding experience, that is memorable and inclusive, and will include elements of light-hearted cross-team competition.

What we did:

The whole group were divided into 24 pre-determined teams to ensure the best mix of characters, personalities and workplace relationships. To get them in the right frame of mind for participating in the day’s activities, we kicked off proceedings in the morning in the main Arena with our fantastic Team Top Trumps energiser. Then, after some strategy planning time, teams were invited to journey into the eye of the Maelstrom storm – a fun, fast-moving, multi-activity cross-team challenge – with scores recorded and team performances awarded before the group headed back to the Hotel for lunch.

After lunch, teams were combined into 8 ‘warrior’ Clan groups for the purposes of a specially designed indoor Highland Games event. The indoor activities on offer included a Pipes & Drums workshop in the upstairs Grampian Suite, indoor Head to Head and Fun Field Highland Games activities, that used the forgiving surface of the indoor Equestrian arena for some of the higher impact challenges. In the main Arena Carpet Curling and Scottish Country Dancing with a traditional 3-piece ceilidh band and dance caller were provided.
