Close House Hotel and Golf Club is an 18th century manor, built in 1779 for the private use of the Bewicke family, however it’s history dates back almost 800 years to the early 13th century. The hotel is nestled within a country estate of almost 400 acres and is located just on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne and in the heart of Northumberland. Close House prides itself on its historical heritage and extensive and breathtaking setting and furthermore its state-of-the-art golfing facilities.
