Around the World in 5 Treasure Hunts

Treasure Hunts are one of our most flexible, inclusive and cost effective styles of team building events. They are the perfect way to explore your team building, conference or incentive destination and allow guests to get to know one another better while taking part in some fun, light-hearted competition.
We’ve been lucky enough to deliver Treasure Hunts for our corporate clients around the world, each bespoke to the group and destination. Here are just some examples:
1. Espionage in Malta
Our renowned, international media client held a 3-day senior management meeting in Malta. The company wanted to organise a “Bourne” style event which would include the use of technology to tie in with the digital media theme of the conference. Maximillion designed an event which included a dedicated event website, social networking sites and clues received by text message.
2. Adventure Rally in Jersey
One of our most ambitious events to date was a tailor made full-day event in Jersey for winners of an incentive for a global financial service provider. Guests were divided into teams and supplied with a self-drive people carrier to navigate between different checkpoints around the island. At each stop, they took part in an activity such as cliff jumping, scuba diving, jet skiing and kayaking. A truly exhilarating day!
3. Treasure Stride in Munich
Fujitsu wanted an afternoon event to enhance a two-day meeting in Munich for employees and key clients. We suggested a Treasure Stride which would enable participants to explore this beautiful city while participating in some fun team building. Clues included fascinating historic facts, sampling local delicacies and meeting friendly locals, and finished at the world famous Munchenbierhaus.

4. Taxi Treasure Hunt in Barcelona
Barcelona is one of the most enduring destinations for conferences and incentives. Taxi Treasure Hunt fits seemlessly into any event programme as it’s a great way to get out and about and explore architectural gems, natural beauty and dynamic culture. We have run Taxi for several different companies in the Catalan capital, and each has enjoyed whizzing around this vibrant city in a distinctive black and yellow cab.
5. Tavern Trawl in London
Many clients who have little time during the day to organise team building have enjoyed an evening Tavern Trawl event. While the event can take place at any time of day, it’s most suited to the evening when teams can explore London’s traditional pubs and quirky inns in a fun and interactive way. With teams running around answering clues dotted around winding back streets, eerie passages and quirky buildings, guests love to swap stories over a drink or two.
