Maximillion is ecstatic to have been nominated for a number of important industry awards this year. No-one can argue that the last 18 months have been enormously challenging for our sector so it’s all the more rewarding for our people when they are recognised for the business and service improvements that everyone has worked hard to achieve. We are therefore delighted to have reached the final stages of the following awards:
Scottish Events Awards
Scotland’s own event industry evening is now in its second year. We’re a finalist in two categories: “Best Educational Event” where we put forward our ground breaking Eden simulation used by Eco-Schools, and the “Green Award” for running a sustainable business and delivering greener events. We won “Best Corporate Event” last year – can we do it again? Find out on 10th September!
Scottish Thistle Awards
The tourism sector’s glitzy, high drama evening. Maximillion is a finalist in the “Sustainable Tourism” category and up against formidable competition with Wilderness Scotland and Cream O’ Galloway as fellow category finalists. Fingers crossed for October 23rd…
VIBES Awards (Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland)
No matter what sector or industry, VIBES sets out to recognise business excellence in sustainability. Maximillion’s green credentials have again caught the judges’ eye and we have been shortlisted for the third year in a row but have yet to win. Can we do it this year? We will find out in December!
