Looking to experience elements of Scottish heritage, but with a fun, modern, competitive twist? Our Braveheart Games offer a blend of team building games inspired by those of the traditional Highland Games circuit. These Games, however, have been tailored to be enjoyed indoors – away from the occasional rigours of the Scottish climate – with the incorporation of brilliantly creative challenges to suit the latter day clansman and clanswoman!

Overview of the event

Depending on your budget and number of guests there are different games to choose from to create your Games package.

The Opening: Start the day off with a rousing, sabre-rattling-style clan procession, with your guests marching in to the famous traditional sound of the Pipes and Drums to start the session provided by our Piper and Drummer in full Highland dress and regalia. Our kilted team of Instructors, along with your very own Games Chieftain, will split the group into their clans and time is allocated for your clansmen and women to work on their Highland chant, get their clan war paint on and dress themselves appropriately with the sash of tartan cloth that each clan member is provided!News

The Main Battle: Clans kick off the skirmish by competing in our opening energiser of a pipes and drums ‘name that tune’, sure to get the competitiveness brewing and the opportunity for clans to tease each other as they battle for some initial bonus points! Following this, clans go head to head on a range of challenges which develop a range of skills i.e. throwing, agility and accuracy – encountering a different clan at every activity rotation to compete against. Some examples of activities on offer include Carpet Curling, Haggis Shy, Potato Toss, Caber Flip, Iron Brew strength challenge, Thistle Hoopla, Pipes and Drums workshop and Country Dancing.

The Finale: For the grand finale, all clans come together to take part in our Rabbie Burns Relay were points are awarded depending on the clans placing. The main aim is for clans to fill their basket with all the ingredients required for their Burns Supper – without using their hands and feet – not forgetting to finish the relay off with a rendition of “The Selkirk Grace” in their best Scots accent!News

Requirements
Our Braveheart Games is a proven success with both UK and inbound incentive group guests alike. But don’t just take our word for it:

“Very professional. Your Clansmen put everyone at ease. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Great feedback from our employees. Would highly recommend your services.” SCA Hygiene Products UK Ltd.

“So pleased it went so well last week and lovely to see such glowing feedback from our client – we wouldn’t hesitate to contact you again and hope to enquire with you soon” Mabrouka Events

We ask that the minimum numbers for this style of event is 20 participants and there is no maximum! You would need a venue with generous indoor floor space – and adjacent rooms for the pipes and drums. We would be pleased to advise you what would work given your group size and activity mix.

I’m convinced, what next?News
