This month we have welcomed two new interns to our Maximillion Family – Laura from Perth, Scotland and Melani from the Netherlands! We are delighted to have them on board and look forward to what the next few months will bring.
In order to get to know them both better, we asked them the following questions:
Name: Laura Williamson
Tell us a little about your background?
I moved to Edinburgh to study my Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. I studied Environmental Science followed by Business Management with Marketing. I enjoy all types of sports 
specifically focussing on Hockey and Horse Riding. On a weekly basis I help out with Brownies and work at Edinburgh Leisure.
Why did you decide to apply for an internship with Maximillion and what are you looking forward to most?
I applied because of the variety Maximillion offer and also to explore behind the scenes of an events company. I am looking forward to being part of the design to the delivery of an event.
Be able to teleport anywhere or be able to read minds? Why?
Teleport anywhere – I love travelling, maybe teleport to Antarctica or the Andes.
If you won the lottery, what would you do with your earnings?
Buy a ranch or buy land to design my own ranch, think that would deplete my earnings quite a lot!

Name: Melani Delleman
Tell us a little about your background?
I originally come from Doetinchem, which is in the East of The Netherlands, but have been living in the South now for about 4 years for my study in Breda. I am studying Leisure Management and currently working at Maximillion and writing my thesis for them as well, to eventually graduate.
Why did you decide to apply for an internship with Maximillion and what are you looking forward to most?
Because I really like the wide offering Maximillion has, and with that, the opportunity to grow even wider and bigger as an individual in a team.
If you could witness any past event what would it be?
I’d have liked to attend the 10th year anniversary of Tomorrowland in Belgium: I don’t know how they make it such a good event, but somehow everyone in the world loves it.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, who would you bring and why?
If I were stranded on a deserted island, I would like to have my mum with me, because I love her, she’s fun and she always knows how to make the best out of a very bad situation.
