Kinetic Connections

Creating an interdependent group out of independent teams – and order from chaos!

Unique to Maximillion, Kinetic Connections offers a hands on approach to cross-team communication, teamworking, collaboration and team development. With little information and no initial direction, only the combined efforts of every individual member of the group will help rise to the challenge of the chaotic ever-changing Kinetic Connections environment and ensure success. This is a non-competitive team challenge which requires co-operation and collaboration.

How it works

Kinetic Connections is a collaborative, activity-based team building project. It mirrors real life workplace situations, issues and challenges, and raises awareness of how behaviours and actions can impact on team effectiveness. Teams work together to assemble giant, colourful, eye-catching mechanical models by interpreting clues, completing problem-solving exercises, and working to complex ‘Haynes Manual’ style diagrams.

Collaboration and negotiation with other teams for components, resources and expertise is key. The hard work results in a fantastic ‘explosive’ finale where the models come to life, finishing your event on a high

Who it’s for

Kinetic Connections is for you if you’re looking for cerebral indoor team building that demonstrates the effectiveness of group thinking for problem solving in a fun and fast-paced environment. The activity also encourages disparate or silo-ed teams or departments to come together for greater collaboration, and for all participants to see “the bigger picture”.

There is also an option to incorporate a facilitated session to increase scope for sharing relevant and transferable learning experiences.

“Great virtual team event hosted by Maximillion. From the feedback received from Team Members they had great fun and it was good to interact with Team Members both in Glasgow and Watford. The event was well organised and everyone knew exactly what they were doing. All materials required were distributed well before the event and all queries were covered.”
