Final Call for The Cairngorm Challenge

On 10th September, The Cairngorm Challenge will celebrate its fifth year and is set to be the biggest yet with registrations outstripping expectations. But it’s not too late to enter – with the registration deadline now confirmed for 12th August you still have time to organise a team and get your names down for this epic adventure challenge.
Select one of three routes of different distances, each combining a hike up Scotland’s 4th highest mountain and a bike through some of the most spectacular and protected forests Scotland has to offer.
Distances include:
- 50km Bronze
- 75km Silver
- 100km Gold
The event will kick off on the night of Friday 9th with registration, briefing and a pasta party with the Challenge proper starting first thing on Saturday morning. All teams should return by 6pm when a BBQ and Ceilidh will round the event off in style.
Organisations contemplating entering teams will discover how effective the event can serve as a vehicle for team building. Experience shows that the process of planning, training and participating in the Cairngorm Challenge helps promote facets of effective team building including communication, leadership, resource management, encouragement and mutual support.
