On 9th June at the Royal Thames Yacht Club in London, Maximillion was announced as one of only ten winners of the Green Tourism Business Scheme’s (GTBS) coveted Gold Star. The awards were held as part of the very first Green Tourism Week, and shone a spotlight on exemplary businesses.
The GTBS is the national sustainable tourism certification scheme for the UK. Originally developed in partnership with VisitScotland, it is now the only certification scheme validated by Visit Britain, through the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT).
With over 2,300 accredited GTBS members nationwide, this award recognises Maximillion as one of the very top green businesses in the UK.
