Leuchie takes Pole Position

August 22, 2011 : News

In last month’s enews, Maximillion presented the opportunity for organisations to apply to prototype our new team building event “Pole Position” free of an event fee. A number of organisations swiftly responded and Maximillion is delighted to announce that the charity Leuchie House has been confirmed to take part in the prototype event.

Pole Position will challenge teams to design and construct their own pedal powered F1 Super Kart and then race in a series of qualifiers before the final head to head to take the chequered flag and win the Grand Prix. Pole Position will draw on a wide range of team skills as roles are assigned to undertake crucial tasks.

Leuchie House, located in East Lothian near Edinburgh, exists to enhance the quality of life for those people affected by long term physical disability by providing high quality respite in a non-clinical setting.

Chief Executive Mairi O’Keefe commented:

“This support from Maximillion is just fantastic for us, and has come at exactly the right time. As a newly formed, independent charity, it’s essential that the team at Leuchie House works together to deliver our business objectives, stay ahead of best practice, operate efficiently and effectively, and with the overall goal of exceeding our customers expectations. Working with Maximillion will ensure we build on the strengths, and harness the skills of everyone in the team to ensure the very best for our customers – and have some fun while we do so!”
