Collaborating for change – service redesign from the inside out and the outside in

Delivering superior services by designing in behavioural change

All organisations delivering services, whether public or private sector, are having to look at leaner, more efficient ways of delivering superior service. It’s not just about doing more with less; it’s about doing better with less. This workshop looks at why you might want to engage your internal and external audiences at the same time and what happens at the intersection between the two outcomes. Designing a new user-centred service or improved customer experience often requires fundamental change to how the organisation is structured, staffed and managed.

We will present a new model that accompanies our work and one that has recently been adopted by the Scottish Government in their quest to deliver better, more meaningful services. Customer experience and service design expert David Hicks, a core associate of Maximillion, and Chris Perkins, Regional Director of Fairplace Scotland, have teamed up to discuss how you can apply this model and implement the necessary changes.
