Team Building Outdoor

With glimpses of what summer may have in store, having experienced some glorious weather of late (albeit in dribs and drabs!), we are gearing up and loading the barrels for the peak period at MadMax Adventures.

In previous e-shot articles we’ve documented various site upgrades that MadMax has undergone, and we are at the business end of this year’s development all with the 5 star Visitscotland grading in mind.

Our mains power and water upgrades have been a resounding success and with a wash down point now on site, our team now have the ability to run a much slicker operation. Our permanent BBQ shelter has proven to be a valuable addition as we can now provide the much sought-after smell of burgers and ribs on a grill, no matter the weather. Clients are now able to take advantage of dining al fresco should the weather allow, or eat in our Clubhouse should the traditional Scottish climate rear its head.

Our WiFi connection is also proving a great success with staff and Clients alike. Our team can update any action photographed or filmed over the course of the day through our Facebook page, and it allows our Clients to review and share their experience through similar channels.

Kirknewton Estate also has the addition of some small, bouncy characters, with lambing well underway on estate land, so with a bit of some vigilant and careful moving around our access routes and activity areas, it is a pleasure to see Spring finally turning into Summer!

Having had our busiest February and April in MadMax history we are all set to welcome another Summer’s worth of intrepid adventurers over the fairer months of 2016. Quad biking still proves to be our most popular activity. However, with the bulk of group enquiries looking for something a little bit different, our Highland Games format is very popular, and with it being the perfect ice breaker or finale, our groups are loving the competitive and fun nature of this event.

Our Quad bike trail is set to relocate into a currently unused woodland area on the estate and with some re-routing and fence /gate adjustments, we are hoping to have this up and running, with all our instructors aware of the best places to go by the end of May.

Gift vouchers still prove to be a very popular gift idea and with the bulk of our availability being within the Summer months there is no better time to purchase an activity experience for a loved one.

We can cater for most group types whether it be Stag/Hen, Corporate or Leisure and if you do have an idea for an activity day with us at MadMax Adventures then do contact Centre Manager Glen on 0131 333 0066 and glen@maximillion.co.uk
