Teambuild your way to Oscar glory

January 28, 2013 : General Team Building

Lights, camera, action!

As the movie awards season heats up in the run up to the Oscars, strike while the iron is hot and transform your team into stars of the stage and screen.

Not only do filming activities encourage creativity, promote consensus and improve forward planning, they are an imaginative way to engage your staff with your company’s visions and values, as well as communicating mission statements and conference messages.

They are also proving popular with incentive groups who would like to visit famous film locations around the UK and recreate scenes from some of the classic British films.

We have two different styles of filming events, both of which can be tailored to your aims and objectives, and appeal as much as possible to the profile of your group.

Take One
Create a touch of Hollywood glitz and glamour with this fantastic event. Everyone in the team has a role to play either in front of, or behind the camera. Careful organisation and time management are vital as teams must present their plans and borrow money from the bank, arrange props and costumes, write their scripts and shoot their films within a limited time. The fun can continue into the evening with a movie themed awards dinner at which the best film, actor, and producer can be awarded with their mini Oscar statues.

Commercial Break
Take your team into the cut-throat world of advertising where they strive for success with their own commercials. Teams first complete challenges to get their foot in the industry door, then their creative juices start flowing as they design a product or brand, and create an eye-catching commercial. This is a great way to incorporate a business message or promote an internal product or theme in a relaxed and fun environment.

Maximillion organises indoor team building events in Edinburgh, Scotland and across the UK. If you would like additional information, please call us on 0131 333 0066 or complete an on-line enquiry form.
