Turning a greener shade of Gold

Maximillion has been selected as one of 20 finalists for the new Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS) Gold Star Award. So how on earth did this happen?
Well, GTBS took over 400 of their Gold Award members and selected the top 10%, who achieved highest score during the rigorous audit process. These 40 members were then reassessed which included submitting trade and customer references and mystery shopping audits. A list of 20 finalists was produced of which Maximillion is one!
The twenty finalists include eleven from England, 7 from Scotland and 2 from Wales. There are just over 1000 accredited GTBS members across the UK so that makes the 20 finalists the top 2% of greenest business in the UK.
So what happens next? On the 9th June at the Royal Thames Yacht Club in London there will be an award ceremony when the ten winners of the Gold Star will be announced. So Maximillion very much hopes it can turn and even greener shade of gold and bring home the coveted Gold Star!
